Tasha & Jared booked me less than a month before the wedding…and I honestly could not have asked for a better couple or a better experience. Jared is in the Navy and they were living in Guam but wanted to get married in his hometown of Watkinsville at the beautiful Ashford Manor Estate which is a wonderful 5 acre historic property overlooking Main Street. The Heath Family reserved the entire property for 5 days prior to the wedding which enabled Tasha’s family to come in from Texas and California to help celebrate their wedding! The entire local wedding community of Watkinsville came together to organize quickly and put together this wedding for Jared and Tasha!

Tasha handmade 1,001 Origami Cranes to honor the Japanese Wedding tradition that says, ” The crane is a symbol of longevity and prosperity in Japanese culture. For the bride and her family, it is a long-standing custom to fold 1,001 origami cranes to represent good fortune, longevity, fidelity, and peace to the marriage.Tasha’s family made LUMPIAS during the day….and her ladies were so fine to follow us around with them…and…they made for some of my FAVORITE SHOTS…
